"We spent a week in the hotel and Sinalei is a true gem. The landscape makes it feel like you’re in Samoa - not in a general island resort. The staff is extremely kind, polite and sweet. The amenities are great; tennis / paddle court, incredible relaxing pool, kayak, snorkel, everything. The spa is also another great addition - Tiana gave me the best massage and facial. We will definitely come back. Fa’afetai Sinalei. (The only thing that could improve - but will not remove / affect my 5 starts rec! - is the food. The restaurant is ok, but the environment, vibes and atmosphere make it worth it)"

"Absolutely beautiful slice of paradise! The staff were the friendliest, most helpful and kind people. Even when English was limited for some, they still smiled and found a way to find an answer. What a beautiful community 🙂 Turtles off the beach, clear water (except for at high tide) We happily sat and relaxed in the beach drinking the nicest pina colada from the bar. Cannot wait to return! Will come straight back here next time we come to Samoa 🙂"

"Stayed in a villa, room clean and big. Breakfast has different good selection of food. Staff very friendly and helpful. "

"We booked for 9 nights but stayed only 3. Staying in a fale on the beach at faofao became intolerable without respite from the relentless pounding of the ocean on the reef especially at night. Swimming or just sitting in the water to escape the heat was impossible with the tide almost reaching the fale. No TV at all and no Internet access in the fale. Internet also turned off. Obliged to sit in uncomfortable eating area for Internet access. No respite from bright security lights. Toilet bowl cracked, had to ask for toilet paper and no attempt made to clean the showers. Same orange paper in middle shower. Roaming cats and dogs. My husband was attacked by a black and tan dog at the toilets. Faofao is in the middle of nowhere and tourists are charged exorbitant rates for transport like 250 tala from the airport. We specially drove there before our stay to find out what we needed to bring and fortunately took canned food,water and soft drinks. Although the very oily breakfast is included in the price dinner would have cost 35 tala per person. This place is unwelcoming and unfriendly and the environment leaves a lot to be desired. My sincere regret is that the booking was non refundable. "

"The room I believe was nice but the first room we were givens aircon wasn't working. The breakfast menu was very limited and the room service continuosly interrupt us early and more than necessary throughout the day. "

"Overall stay was good and communication with Maria was really great. It really helped that the home had everything we needed especially the ability to do our laundry, cook our own food & the privacy to come & sit down at the dining table unwinding, talking with our kids about the days events. Home away from home :)"
