NO SMOKING • Ocean Sands is a non-smoking community. Smoking is permitted only on the beach or by the fence along Fort Macon Road, away from all common areas, including the gazebos. • Smoking, vaping, and drug use are strictly prohibited inside the unit and in all common areas within the community. •A minimum $200 smoke remediation fee will be assessed if evidence of smoking is found. Additional charges for deep cleaning, damage, or disruption to future reservations may apply. 2\. PET POLICY •No animals permitted in this unit due to owner allergies. • Pet-friendly units are available — guests traveling with animals should not book this unit and may request assistance finding a suitable alternative. • Unapproved animals are not permitted and may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund and/or a $200 additional cleaning fee. 3\. PARKING PASS & KEYS • One (1) parking pass is provided. A second pass may be arranged prior to your stay for $25. • Parking passes must be clearly displayed at all times. OCCUPANCY POLICY • Occupancy is limited to the number of guests listed on the reservation. No unregistered guests are permitted. •The base rate includes up to 2 guests. There is a $15/night fee for each additional guest. •All guests (including children) must be included in the reservation prior to check-in. 6\. SUBLEASING is not permitted. Reservations may not be reassigned without prior written host approval. A valid photo ID matching the reservation name may be required. 7\. Guests agree to accept full responsibility for themselves and all occupants during the stay, including any damages, violations, or fees incurred. 8\. Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the host, agent, property management, Ocean Sands HOA, and Board of Directors from claims or damages arising from their stay. 9\. Short walk to beach. Great view. The room was small, which I knew , but the layout could be improved with minimal effort. No space at all to cook / prepare anything. Shortly after we arrived, I contacted the host to say we were not pleased with the unit and would not be able to stay the second night. If I had not worked all that day, and drove almost 2 hours to get there (arriving after 8:30) I would not have stayed the one night. We checked out the next morning.
