Fully renovated penthouse apartment in the heart of Athens. Very close to all amenities, Koukaki is the quietest, vibrant, safe and nice region in Athens centre, 10 mins walk to Acropolis and Plaka, voted by Airbnb as one of the hottest places to book! The flat is on the 5th floor and can accommodate up to 4 people making it a perfect selection for young and old couples or families.  
  
Fully renovated penthouse apartment with one bedroom (double bed), living room with double sofa bed, kitchen, toilet and bathroom exactly as shown in the photos. In addition, it has a small balcony where you can relax while having your coffee or drink. It is a very stylish and cosy apartment that will immediately make you feel very welcome.   
  
The flat is decorated in a way that is representative of the area's style and history so it will immediately give you a good feel of Koukaki. It's on the fifth floor of the building and can accommodate up to four people, making it ideal for young and old couples alike or families with kids.  
  
The bedroom is equipped with a double sleeping mattress that has antibacterial coating and 90% of the flat's amenities are equipped with brand new equipment perfectly suitable for any house.  
  
Guests can enjoy the privacy of the whole apartment. Clean and fully equipped with everything necessary to have a comfortable stay, such as double glazing windows, air condition, high speed Wi-Fi, flat screen 32’ TV, fridge, oven, kettle, programmable toaster and coffee maker, microwave oven, iron and ironing board and a small outside sitting area at the balcony.  
  
It is a spacious apartment (45sqm), in the heart of Athens very close to the Acropolis museum (1 km away - 10 mins walk) and all other popular sightseeing areas. It's only 6 mins away from the nearest metro, bus and tram stations, with many buses passing by to all directions a breath away.  
  
Last but not least, it is located minutes away from the local market where you can find everything you might need (laundry shop, supermarket, grocery shop etc.) as well as the local bars and restaurants that have made this area so popular with travellers and locals alike.  
  
The neighbourhood is really vibrant with plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes that are located all around the area and within walking distance from the flat. Grocery stores, bakeries, supermarkets and all other necessary amenities are only a breath away.   
  
Koukaki is based in Athens' Historical Centre and you will have the chance to see and explore everything that has made Greece famous, from the Acropolis museum to Greek traditional tavernas or wonderful local bars that spread the area's vibe. This is also one of the safest areas, so you can walk around with your friends or your family safely.   
  
The area offers really good connections with the airport, the port and the city centre with all available public transport options (metro, tram, buses).

Great communication with the host throughout the whole process. Very inviting and comfortable apartment located within a short walk of Plaka and the Acropolis. I only wish the shower was a little bigger. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay.

The flat was clean and perfect for all our needs! About a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis, and surrounded by lots of great restaurants/bars. The owner was so helpful and easy to contact. He helped arrange a ride for us from the airport to the flat and was always checking in to make sure our needs were met. Also gave some excellent recommendations for food/drinks! Overall he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable!

We were able to walk to where ever we wanted without transportation hassles. Communication was over 5 stars! We had all the information we needed before arriving in Athens which made us more comfortable about our stay. The owner even communicated with us while we were there. He helped with restaurant recommendations and getting transportation from the airport to the flat. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided.

The apartment was functional and very clean. My only criticism was that the apartment was very cheaply updated and had a dated feel - especially the tiny bathroom. Still, our needs were mostly met. If your expectations are not very high, this apartment will serve your needs. Wish there was a table and some more chairs though. The neighborhood is safe and lively with lots of tavernas, cafes and good transportation available. It’s at least a 15-20 minute walk to the closest places of interest. Overall…decent value if on a budget.

Great property in a residential area, with local gems. We could a great restaurant and ice cream within a 5 minute walk. The host, Mario, was very responsive and understanding. The check in and check out process was straight forward. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting Athens!

This charming flat was a gem to find on line. It was close to stores, restaurants, cafe’s and more. The acropolis was about a 19 minute walk and was easy to navigate. But go early or after 2, That’s what we were told to avoid the crowds, from all the tours groups coming through. Nik was an awesome host and made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. We were having problems finding a ride from the airport to the flat and he arranged it for us. I would highly recommend this flat to anyone looking for a quiet accessible place to stay in Athens.
