This property was in a great area, with easy access and super clean accommodations. The cleaning staff was super friendly too. HIGHLY recommend. Also, the bakery right across the alley is a GEM.

The only redemption about our stay was the location and proximity to everything. Otherwise the check in was complicated, the staff responde time was slow, the building was run down, the AC did not cool down the unit in the heat of august, the bed was uncomfortable and finally - the staff assumed we checked out before we told them anything and entered our unit leaving the door wide open to our room and had started a turn down service at 7:45 am!! Such a violation when we had just headed out with our luggage to drop it off at a storage unit but were panning to come back to rest before leaving plaka (our checkout was at 11am) Very disappointed. Will never return.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Haya City Suites in Athens. Christina was wonderful organising transport to and from the hotel and helping us during our stay. Our room was very spacious, clean and inviting. Many dining options from great coffee and pastries to fabulous food. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Athens

Christina the property manager was very attentive and helpful. There were unfortunate problems with the elevator and shower, but she was very helpful. A bit noisy at night due to the bars in the neighborhood. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. Recommend!!

We stayed in Suite 5 and found it large, comfortable and well priced. The Haya Suites are on the 5th floor of an older mixed use building, so access is by lock box and door code. Christina the property manager made this remote access and communication easy. The daily housekeeping service was very good. The location is great, within walking distance of different neighbourhoods, ancient sites, restaurants & shopping. The bakery across the street, 72H is amazing. The only negative is this is a very "self serve" accommodation, and the building feels empty with some floors dark at night. The Haya Suites floor is bright, well decorated and feels very safe. We enjoyed our stay here.

This place is amazing! A hidden gem with great value for the price. I wanted to stay somewhere nice and centrally located without breaking the budget, and this was exactly what I was looking for. Very safe area and busy enough at night that I felt very comfortable walking around late. Haya Suites is walking distance to the Acropolis (about 12 minutes) and right by loads of amazing restaurants, bars and shops. It’s right across the street from 72 hour bakery! Location was so convenient and really allowed us to maximize the 2 nights we had in Athens. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a mini fridge, coffee machine and water which was so appreciated. The room was spacious for 2 people and I was so pleased to have a partial view of the acropolis (this wasn’t advertised when I booked so it was an amazing surprise!). I will happily recommend this place to my friends and family and will be staying here again on my next visit to Athens.

There are several things I wish I knew before booking. This is not a traditional hotel occupying an entire building. The property is only on the 5th floor, with no clear signage outside. I only figured out where to go by looking at the mailboxes. Communication was terrible. I called the Expedia number when I arrived and was told someone would call me back. No one did. I called the same number about the TV not working and was again promised a callback that never came. The only way I eventually communicated with someone was through the cleaning lady, who called them for me. I also had security concerns. There is no interior deadbolt or security latch. You push the door handle up to engage the lock, but there is no separate inside lock preventing someone with access from entering. There’s also no way of knowing the door is actually locked from the inside. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel secure. The TV didn’t work for my entire two-night stay. I reported it, received no apology or update, and no one came to the apartment to look at it. At checkout, I was told they had tried to fix it, although I’m unsure when. The apartment and bathroom were otherwise fine, but for the price, I would compare Airbnb options. This operates much more like an Airbnb than a traditional hotel. As far as accessibility…everything is in walking distance. Take the train or bus from the airport. No need to waste money on a cab.
