We had a lovely time at Sekoen. Everyone there is very professional. Their smiling faces really light the the days of guests. The meals are very delicious and they are very thoughtful to include local delicacy in their dishes. I am especially impressed with the way they serve the breakfast and dinner. They explain the ingredients and the way to enjoy food in details so they we can not only enjoy the food, but also get to know more about the local food culture. We stayed there for 2 nights and we were upgraded to a bigger room with private bath on the second night. We really enjoyed it. My big thanks to everyone at Seikoen to make my stay there extremely enjoyable. It is not ultra luxurious but the whole atmosphere gives you a really good Japanese experience. What was really outstanding though - and we ate at really good places on this trip - was their dinner. Must have been a great sight in Spring and Summer. Service was good both at the reception and the restaurant. The food was varied and first rate. Nothing was too difficult to accommodate during our stay.
