The location made it easy to access everywhere we needed to go and the apartment was very quiet, very clean, very peaceful and just lovely. We were sorry and rather embarrassed that we bungled the driveway situation on our first go-around. Waze directed us to the front of the property and even with a sign in the front yard reminding us that guest parking was around the back, we needed a reminder. We appreciated the spaciousness of the bedrooms and two full bathrooms with plenty of towels. I loved having upstairs bedrooms with updated windows with screens for nights with fresh air flowing through. The AC works perfectly, which is a must since summer in Ashland is hot, even in early June. The beds are comfy and there are extra pillows. The apartment has nice light with skylights throughout, the kitchen is small but has everything you need to make breakfast, including a coffee maker. We enjoyed the outdoor garden seating, and the owners' small dog Yoshi is the one of the cutest dogs I've met. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to the Ashland shops. We enjoyed the Hither Cafe for lunch and some breakfast scones. And the Bloomsbury Bookstore nearby is wonderful - a good place to find your next read or stop for a drink in the upstairs cafe. ##### VRBO B. You could use a little more kitchen area, though I know that would be difficult. It is too bad that temperatures are difficult to regulate from upstairs and downstairs.
