"The hotel was very smart and comfortable. The lounge and reception area was spacious, but there was no designated bar area, just a small bar in the smaller dining area. The swimming pool was disappointing, with no deep end and a bit small to have a proper swim. Also the cafe terrace adjoining the pool was rarely available, being given over to private functions. Breakfast had a good selection of foods, but in the hot food section the food was cold - the hot plates should have been set at a higher temperature. The bedroom was a good size, with a very comfortable bed. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful, particularly at reception."
