Very clean. Beds comfortable. Good air conditioning and bathroom fan. Good black-out curtains, and noise-reducing double paned windows. Busy but interesting neighborhood. We were there for a family wedding held at a venue nearby.
Though requested in advance, folding luggage racks could not be provided. Very limited space/infrastructure for managing personal items. Both the room and bathroom could use more bars, hooks, shelves for hanging or holding clothes.

This is a hidden gem that should be rated as a 5 star. The rooms were excellent, modern and luxurious. The furnishings in the room were exquisite. The bar area was excellent and the roof top area was beautiful, with excellent breakfast. Also, the location was very good; a short walk to Merrion Square and Trinity College. The only thing missing are proper parking options.

"We stayed in the lodge which is just across the road from the main hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the great part was being able to sit outside next to the river, right next to the bar! Breakfast was in the main hotel and was really good."
