Airds food and our room were exceptional. A beautiful quaint place to stay. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed in room 10 which was a large room with a private terrace, huge bathroom with a tub with shower and additional shower. Lots of room and felt like home. Comfy king bed. We loved it there.

Very comfortable room with a lake view. Quiet hotel (January stay), truly relaxing atmosphere. Katie, the manager, provided first class customer service! Highly recommended and we are hoping to go back in the summer!

Hotel doesn't look much from outside but different story inside. Staff lovely, lovely lounge are for relaxing, comfy armchairs, food very good, service very good. Beds really comfy. View from front of hotel stunning

Great stay but beware the HOT water

We had a lovely stay for just one night at The Airds Hotel. We were a bit late getting in and had to cancel an earlier dinner reservation because we were running behind. But the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to enjoy dinner in the restaurant. They also provided us a takeaway bag for breakfast as we had to check out early the next morning. The hotel room itself was very comfortable. The water in the shower gets scalding hot, BEWARE. There is a sign in the bathroom warning of this but it isn’t until you go to take a shower that you realize how hot it truly gets. It takes a little bit of time fiddling with the controls to get the water to a desirable temperature. Other than that, we absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have spent more time here.

Breakfast was phenomenal. I’m not vegetarian but the vegetarian sausages were amazing and easily the best eggs I’ve had across a dozen countries. The staff and service were exceptional; we were held up 3 hours due to an accident causing a temporary road closure, delaying us until 2a. I called the number upon arrival and they were there settling us in within 5 minutes. Incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to make us comfortable… speaking of which, the beds were insanely comfy. Also, The Lighthouse (Appin Craft Shop). We wanted to leave with half the items there. Many local artwork and jewelry, all authentic, highly recommend.

The view out the front window of the hotel is beautiful. The food was ok.. not amazing. I ordered the risotto and it was terrible. We ended up walking to a nearby restaurant for drinks and their restaurant was booked and had more options. Jay the manager was super friendly and the room was comfortable and the bathrooms newly renovated and clean.

This property falls significantly short of its premium pricing and advertised standards. The website photos give a misleading representation. Upon arrival, the room exhibited severe maintenance issues: heavily stained carpeting, torn wallpaper, and yellowed skirting boards. Spare duvets were unceremoniously bundled into the wardrobe, making storage unusable. Furthermore, the bed consisted of two single beds not joined together, leaving a deep, uncomfortable gap down the middle. The bathroom suffered from a persistent drain odor, and shower water pressure was virtually nonexistent. Customer service was equally disappointing. A staff member promised management would meet us at 6:00 PM, but no one followed up. The manager was aware we contacted Expedia, yet intentionally avoided us until we specifically asked him to come to the room. When we spoke, his response was dismissive. Management offered a bottle of wine and complimentary EV charging—though charging was only granted because we explicitly asked about it while vacant. These minor gestures are entirely inadequate for a severely compromised stay. Prospective guests are advised to look elsewhere.
