Perfectly located in a rural country side location yet close to most tourist sites. Certified by Tourism Northern Ireland situated 7 minutes from Belfast International Airport, 20 minutes from the ferry ports and Belfast city centre. We're central to most attractions in Northern Ireland ie Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge only 45 minutes drive. Or take the magnificent coastal route to the north coast. Private parking in front of the cottage. The ground floor centrally heated accommodation is attached to the main house, is completely private, has its own entrance, and comprises of open plan bright lounge/diner with fully equipped kitchen, separate utility room, hallway, double bedroom and en-suite shower room with power shower. All rooms are tastefully decorated. Freeview TV is available in the lounge. Free Wifi is also available. A BBQ and seating area for guests is on the deck overlooking the river. This is a rural hidden gem of an idyllic property, with the wow factor, where you can wander down to the river and lake and take in peacefulness of the surroundings. It is an ideal central base for couples of all ages travelling around Northern Ireland or for the business person working in the area. Suffice to say, the reviews are certainly justified. The hosts were very accommodating with a last minute booking and I found both just genuinely warm and friendly people. The Cottage had everything you'd expect. A nice, clean and bright open space which still felt private despite being next door to the hosts. The bed was very comfortable and the rain shower was lovely first thing in the morning. WiFi was great and I had no issues whilst working during the week. The location of the cottage was perfect for me too. The local village is a few minutes away with great transport links if you needed to get into Belfast city center but I didn't need to. Second, Rod and Suzie are kind a gracious hosts. The location of the home is perfect if you're flying in or out of Belfast international airport. It's unbelievably close. If you're looking for a quiet place that is out of the way, but still close amenities, you can't ask for better. The owners are on site, which is not a negative, but is something to consider. Belfast is 20-30 minutes away, and the Giant's Causeway is about an hour going the direct route, but I would suggest going to Carrickfergus and going up the coast. The cottage itself is well maintained and comfortable. Everything is in good working order, and is just a lovely little place for a couple to stay. I would be glad to stay there again. ##### Bryan R. Very pleased with the cottage. Everything you could every need was there. Extremely comfortable including the bed. It was all very well maintained, clean and very nicely decorated. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived. The hosts had provided us with a few groceries and also some very tasty home grown strawberries. The hosts were very helpful with any questions we had and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was ideal for visiting the towns, city’s and beautiful coastline.
