Quirky place to stay
The main complaint was the shower head was mounted in the middle of the tub making it awkward to use. The shower and toilet were clean, but the shelf over the sink had whiskers on it. The hostal itself was quirky, with antiques and several different levels that were fun to poke around on. Staff was helpful and spoke good English. The bed was very comfortable.

Friendly & convenient.
Quaint old fashioned hotel but clean and convenient for the Alcazar. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant opposite is friendly and good value for money. Recommended!

Highly recommended
Hostal Colon is a wonderful place to stay. It is five minutes from the historic centre of Antequera and shops to cater for all tastes. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the rooms are very comfortable. The bus and train stations are quite close, but the road from the train station to the town centre is quite steep. Highly recommended.
