Plenty of common area space with ample seating, there is a large conference room. Plenty of parking and Tesla EV recharging stations. The check in process was tedious, the machine did not work. After trying almost an hour I tried calling hotels.com which did not recognized the itenary number. So I was stuck with not being able to talk to an operator or person. Anyhow, alnost after 2 hours we Finally received help and got the rooms. The rooms very very nice with a good view. However, try ti stay away from rooms 1, 2 and3 as illmanned people tend to gather there laste at night and early in the morning, disturbing your sleep and stay. I didn’t receive an SMS to my international number with pin to open the main door. It took about an hour to receive that information from the property by email after numerous calls to Expedia support, Expedia did a great job and even found for me an alternative hotel because the agent was unable to reach out to the property manager while was calling to all available numbers and sending the emails. The contact number that I found close to the self-check-in screen was switched off. The brand new room was perfectly clean and comfortable for a one night stay. The property is located next to the gas station and it’s about 15-20 min from the train station. Instead for one night we paid $ 270.00\. The “hotel” is situated on the third floor of a sad shopping mall outside town next to a large gas station and an RV and bus storage. Too far from the train station to walk. Our room was small and lacked most of the basic amenities one expects from a hotel. No desk, no luggage rack, no kettle no coffee machine. It is advertised with AC, but there are no controls in the rooms. Fortunately we could open a window, but then we heard engines revving up all night. The TV does not have apps or Chrome-cast and the only channels are in Norwegian. In a new brand new place? No way to make coffee or tea. The coffee machine is in the common room, and we were supposed to find pods for it in the room but there were none. For coffee one must go to the gas station next door. What else would one expect? A decent shower and a good bed. Well, the shower drain was not working properly so to avoid a flood we had to shower with a trickle, and the bed was the cheapest and most uncomfortable we ever experienced in a Scandinavian country. So soft that it was hard to turn. The place is not staffed at all and so there is no security. At night I went into the common room looking for at least a kettle, and found a guy sitting there that gave me a weird vibe. I went back in the morning and he was still there asleep on the sofa. The check in was chaotic - being told to expect an sms with room details etc only to receive the sms 36 hours later !!! - but once in everything was fine. If you need anything like extra bedding, general questions etc you don’t have anyone to ask to. In the ad it said it had air conditioner but this was absolutely not true, not even in the común area, it was suffocating and extremely hot, we couldn’t sleep, also the double bed was very soft and uncomfortable.
