"This unit was extremely cute and better looking than in the photos. We were very impressed! It’s a small house with windows on all sides making it very light and airy inside. I’ve never seen any VRBO as well-coordinated as this one! The house is in a sparsely populated area with an ocean view. On a clear day you can see the mountains from the Olympic Peninsula. "My husband and I stayed here two nights as a break in our travels and it was just what we needed. The view of the lakes are just beautiful and the property is lovely. The owner is easy to reach and friendly. This is probably the nicest VRBO we've stayed in to date. The decor is beautiful and they've thought of every detail to make this a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend."

"This apartment above the garage at the back of the property is exactly as described. The kitchen is well stocked, and the bed and furniture are all very comfortable. There are 17 steps to climb so if mobility is an issue, you'll want to keep this in mind. However, if it isn't, I highly recommend this property. There's even a nice little patio and bbq for your use. Holly was communicative without being iintrusive and kindly shared her delicious tomatoes with us."

Comfortable, convenient and very clean.
" Myself and 2 cousins stayed here for one night when we went to San Juan Island. Our room was on the second floor and had 2 queen beds. The mattresses were comfortable but the sheets were a bit stiff and scratchy. The room and all the common areas were very clean. The bathroom was very small, just enough room for the toilet and shower, with the sink actually in the room. (I’ve never understood this arrangement. It’s inconvenient in my opinion.) There were lots of Knick knacks in the lobby area giving the place a kitschy, homey vibe. There was also a cookie jar with chocolate chip cookies for the taking near the front desk; a nice touch. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The continental breakfast was adequate. There’s no elevator in the building so if you have trouble with stairs be sure to request a first floor room. "
