The hotel has a wonderful location overlooking Grasmere, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend staying here.

Beautiful location, easy parking, we stayed in room 101 which was lovely the only negative was no privacy when blackout curtains are open this room is clearly visible to all seated outside spa and courtyard.

Great Hotel - we'd originally booked 10 years ago but had to cancel due to a complicated pregnancy. It was lovely to have finally made it! Location was beautiful and the staff were supportive, kind, and friendly Room was clean, lovely bathroom Breakfast was the slight downfall - it was plentiful, do not get me wrong - just the quality was not to the level that you would expect from the Daffodil Would we return - YES

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location in Grasmere away from the more crowded areas of the south Lake District. The hotel is clean and well-maintained with helpful staff and a very welcome health spa with jetted pool, sauna and steam room. The location on a beautiful lake opposite the historic William Wordsworth Dove Cottage really could not be more ideal. A five star experience: we extended our stay due to the excellence of the hotel and it's ideal location.

Overall hotel was very clean, staff are amazing make you feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was lovely didn’t wait long at all. Would highly recommend this hotel for a nice chilled and relaxing stay.
