"Great cozy modern hotel with spacious clean well decorated rooms and kitchenette. Great price. In a quiet safe neighborhood. Not much around. But there's a store 2 houses down that opens at 4pm. With everything you need. Staff very friendly and accommodating."

"Left after 1 night, shooting outside front door, prostitutes working the streets outside. In the roughest part of city. Not at all safe for my 6 yr old daughter and I to stay.even the locals don't frequent that area.cost me an extra £ 450 to switch hotels for 8 days. You should remove it from your books and would like to know if I am entitled to any refund? I visit my family regularly in Belem so know what to expect of the city."

"Loved the staff! We lived at the hotel for 20 days and everyone was very pleasing! The only down thing is that the rooms did not have cooktop and we were not allowed to get single duvets (I shared the room with my mom and my 2-year old son) because we had a king sized bed. Other than that, we enjoyed the experience in a whole and the breakfast was very diverse as well. The whole staff of the Manaus Hotéis Millennium deserves a raise. They are very nice and hard working people!"
