![Stade, is a city in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. First mentioned in records in 934, it is the seat of the district Landkreis which bears its name. It is located roughly 45km to the west of Hamburg and belongs to that city's wider metropolitan region. Within the area of the city are the urban districts of Bützfleth, Hagen, Haddorf and Wiepenkathen, each of which have a council "Ortsrat" of their own with some autonomous decision-making rights.

"Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in diesem Ferienhaus! Wir wurden zu Beginn freundlich begrüßt und durch die Räumlichkeiten geführt. Die Ausstattung mit Bettwäsche, Handtüchern, Toilettenpapier, Espressobohnen für den Kaffeevollautomaten, Gewürzen, etc. ist sehr gut. Die Küchenausstattung ist auch im Übrigen toll, noch nie haben wir in einer Unterkunft z.B. so viele scharfe Messer vorgefunden, so macht das gemeinsame Kochen noch mehr Spaß! Insgesamt können wir die Unterkunft nur...

"Sehr ruhig gelegen, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Allerdings war kein Föhn vorhanden und auf meine Frage danach reagierte die Vermieterin nur mit einer lapidaren Antwort, dass der Föhn irgendwo liegen müsste oder die vorherigen Gäste diesen vielleicht entfernt hätten. Eine Abhilfe wurde nicht geschaffen, auf eine weitere Mail diesbezüglich von mir wurde dann nicht mehr reagiert."

"Das haus ist sehr schön.Leider ist die sauberkeit nicht wirklich gegeben.Um zu dem haus zu gelangen muss man sich erst mal deuch die zugewacksene ecke drücken(das sich da due nachbarn noch nicht beschwert haben). Spinnenweben überall, geschirr treckig, türen nicht richtig schliesbar,schränke defekt, unter/hinter den bett dreck alte Prospekte, fliegennetz nicht nutzbar da halb abgerissen. Rassen sehr hoch.Sehr schade den das haus ist eigendich für sein alter sehr schön. Könnte man mehr draus...

"Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in Balje verbracht und das Ferienhaus bietet wirklich viel Platz - perfekt für die ganze Familien. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom großzügigen Wohn- und Essbereich mit großem Esstisch und einer riesigen Couch. Der Kamin hat an kühleren Abenden für eine tolle Atmosphäre gesorgt, Holz war ausreichend vorhanden.Der Garten ist ein echtes Highlight – mit Pool, Sandkasten und einem gemauerten Grill, den wir fast täglich genutzt haben. "Wir (4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) hatten im Ferienhaus Sprante einen schönen Aufenthalt. Es ist besonders geeignet für Personen mit Einschränkungen, da das Haus ebenerdig ist bis auf eine Stufe vom Esszimmer ins Wohnzimmer. Es ist alles für einen schönen Urlaub im Haus vorhanden. Fam. Gastell hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Auch unser Hund war willkommen. Vom Haus aus kann man zu schönen Unternehmungen starten."

"Uncomfortable beds, room was vaguely clean but still lots of cobwebs. Front desk tried to get me to pay for the room again even though it had been paid for through Expedia. This happened several times despite Expedia calling the front desk - eventually it was sorted, but it took a lot of my time chasing it. To be clear, the Expedia support was very good - it was the hotel that was the problem. Breakfast is poor (for the price). I would not stay here again."
