Cosy & quirky cottage in the centre of Alston

  • 'Stokoe Cottage', is a period cottage set over 3 floors, with lots of history & character, sympathetically restored, tucked away from the main market square along a cobbled lane. Ideal for walkers and cyclists doing the Coast to Coast route. Quite village away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life. Great pubs and eating places near by.
    1 bedroom, with king sized bed, lounge, with comfortable chesterfield sofa, TV with Freeview, large wood./coal burner stove and free wifi. Beautiful wooden shutters to Georgian windows. Bathroom has corner shower, toilet & sink, with exposed wall, very quirky...recently renovated. Beautiful farmhouse kitchen with all essentials and large range cooker, with fridge and dishwasher. Off the kitchen is a utility room, where there is a small freezer, washing machine & tumble dryer for use, and ample storage for bikes.
