Alresford Library Tours and Activities

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here at The Raven and it certainly won't be the last. The staff are all fantastic, friendly, helpful, and even though they are all busy they are all really cheerful and take time to interact with you. Yes, admittedly the rooms look a little tired and dated, but they are clean, have everything you need and more importantly I sleep like a log here as the bedding is lovely and the beds extremely comfortable. Plus, staying on my own here as a female traveller, I felt extremely safe and at no point felt uncomfortable. As long as you give your registration number when you check in, parking is free, and there is a big car park with plenty of space. Quality of sleep is the most important thing anywhere you stay, and that coupled with the outstanding staff, makes The Raven a great place to stay

The view of Winchester Cathedral from my bedroom was amazing. All of the staff were extremely helpful and positive including promptly resolving air temperature issues in my room. The room was spotlessly clean. But the room felt rather tired with scratched and battered furniture and a dated bathroom. The decor in the bar and restaurant did not reflect the historic location of the building and seemed very generic and unimaginative

Great stop off stay. Really comfortable rooms and staff really welcoming and friendly. Nice breakfast to round off the stay
