It has 3 bedrooms, 2 Kingsize and one with en-suite and a twin room. Downstairs is a front lounge with a extra lounge/diner/kitchen open plan area at the back which leads on to the enclosed garden and patio area. Ideal for dogs as the garden is secure. It also has a separate utility room and downstairs toilet. The cottage has private parking to the front. It has Wi-fi access and all the amenities for a relaxing stay in the gorgeous county of Northumberland. It's location is ideal, being close to the beautiful coastline and also only 15 minutes from Alnwick. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a washer/dryer, induction hob, double oven, microwave, 2 flat screen televisions and a wood burning stove for cosy winter nights. Free welcome pack on arrival - full of local essentials. Rock is a great central but quiet location close enough to Craster, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Beadnell as well as the Alnwick shops and Castle. Communication with the owner was exceptionally good. The property was spotless and very homely for the family with the kitchen well equipped. The enclosed long grassy garden in a quiet village location was ideal for our young Labrador, with an on your doorstep off-road 2.5km woodland loop being a bonus. For dog lovers looking for somewhere to relax, and no need to drive to a safe walk this is it. Will be rebooking for next year. ##### Colin D. Not obvious where the turning is to the property. Bedrooms very warm. Quite a few spiders in the house and on outdoor garden seating area -it is in the countryside, but had to get rid of a lot of them in the house for the teens to settle. Good location to drive to various places. Nice long garden. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Couple of dishwasher tabs and washing up provided. Liquid soap provided in toilets - though was watered down in the en suite. Beds ok - little on the hard side. Doors a bit stiff to open and lock. Pyg Pen is a beautifully presented and a well equipped property, with everything you could possibly need. It’s situated in an ideal location for day trips and exploring the local area. Property has an enclosed back garden which is ideal for dog owners and plenty of parking in front of the house for more than one vehicle. Lots of places to visit in the local area.
