After a long, long flight from the US, this hotel was wonderful to check in. Very quaint and quiet. We spent 2 days there before beginning a month-long Silk Road Tour. The architecture and furnishings were charming and far from the usual hotel. The breakfast was quite sumptuous and the on-site restaurant was a welcome convenience I'd go back to this hotel in a heartbeat.

The location is good as close to train station and walkable to central. Near a shopping mall and restaurants and supermarket. Has a direct bus to/from airport. Room is standard nice and I would have rate it better if not for the aircon that dripped water(a lot) unto the bed and hot water is unstable. Breakfast is a small area that is not enough to cater to the hotel occupancy, so sometimes have to stand around and wait for table if you go in the golden hour.

Great hotel in a great location. Easy walking distance to lots of places. Helpful kind staff, beds were softer than all others we stayed in (Asia is known for hard beds). Great breakfast options.
