Staff was very nice, the room had a door that was being paint
We loved the easy check-in. You are emailed a code and check in at your own convenience without going to a front desk. The room was okay, but a bit dirty. The floors felt like they hadn't been swept as we kept getting gravel/small rocks stuck to our feet. We found a few hairs on the sink and shower walls. The toilet had brown marks in it that we were able to wipe out with a tissue but also there were other more stubborn marks that looked like they could have been cleaned with Lime Away. There was what appeared to be black mold on the shower curtain. We'll insert a few photos for reference. There was a dead fly that was left on the fly swatter so we threw away the dead fly and killed about 6 more flies during our stay. The new flies weren't the fault of the motel. There were just a lot of flies in the area. The bed honestly felt like the sheets weren't clean. There was a small stain on one of the sheets. Normally sheets smell clean at motels/hotels but these didn't look or smell very clean. The bed was comfy, though. We hate to leave a bad review, but we just weren't very impressed with the accommodations and most likely won't stay here again.
Very clean and cozy room! A cool perk was a couple of bags of microwave popcorn and some chocolates were provided. A nice little snack for late at night when relaxing and watching a little TV to unwind.
There are great restaurants just minutes away and a national forest to the north about an hour. Nice little place to park yourself for a day or two.
It was a little bit like living in a cave. Not very big which is ok, and extremely dark, which is not ok. On small lamp is a ridiculous way to light a room. We will not be staying there again.
