« Not very welcoming team, the room is just disgustingly dirty, mould on the ceiling of the bathroom and the tiles joints are full of mould. the room has certainly not seen a vacuum cleaner for ages. There's NO EXCUSE for such dirt. A pity as it could be a nice place, but it's a NO GO in these conditions »

« We stayed 2 nights, staff asked if we needed any cleaning or replacements in the morning. A full English breakfast was served each morning. We had an evening meal the one night with a good choice. This is an Inn so there's a bar which wasn't too noisy the nights we stayed. Friendly staff. We will book again as ideal for areas we wish to visit. »

« The best thing about this hotel is the location which is fantastic, and the staff were very nice. We stayed in the Oak Suite which is apparently the best room; it benefits from a private terrace with a pair of easy chairs to watch the river and it's occupancy go by, which is lovely. For me it definitely wasn't a four star, but a fair three star hotel. There was a temporary kitchen which also hampered them as well as the view. The room was clean and airy with a (strangely grubby!)Juliet balcony...

« Lovely cottage. Good location too. The only negative was the bugs that woke us up in the middle of the night. A bit scary because they are really big and crawls on your skin. Other than that, still okay. »

« Had a pleasant stay . No one at the facility when we arrived but we managed to get keys ok from key box .Unfortunatly my key snapped in the lock , the young lady i phoned did her best to sort things out and did .Lovely shower ,good as room was very warm . My negative would be the breakfast the toast was not nice and pancakes very heavy .No juice offered and butter didnt come with toast ?with the hard toast it was essential ,the young lady supplied it when asked. I understand the owner is gluten...

« Really nice stay in a small village with a lot of history. The property is situated close to some well known places such as Tintern and Usk. Great communication from the hosts who were very friendly and supporting. »
