Cozy Tiny House in Private Forest

Experience tiny living in this unique 20-foot long tiny house! Located on a private, 5-acre forest with two small creeks. Thoughtfully designed with a small kitchen, bathroom, queen-size bed, and a loft perfect for lounging or unwinding with a book.

Minutes away from the French Broad River and only a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville and Weaverville. Guests are welcome to explore the forested trails, relax by the fire pit, or bring a hammock to hang among the trees.

Two small creeks run through the property. Both are about 3 feet wide and only inches deep. Some areas along the property borders are fenced, though most of the land is not. If you’re unsure where the property boundaries are, just ask. I’ll be happy to show you.

Please note that the gravel driveway is steep and winding. You don’t need a 4-wheel drive vehicle, but you will need steady momentum to get uphill, so please don’t stop on an incline. There is space for two vehicles to park in front of the tiny house.

The main house, up the hill is private and off limits.

For safety, no fires or open flames are allowed inside the tiny house. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor fire pit, across the driveway as long as it’s not too windy and there is no active burn ban. Fires must never be left unattended and should be fully doused when finished; there is a garden hose next to the tiny house. Please bring or purchase dried firewood. You’re also welcome to pick up sticks from the woods or burn anything already in the fire pit.

You’ll have private access to the entire tiny house. The driveway and forested yard are shared spaces.

The gravel driveway is steep and winding, so please drive carefully.

The loft is set up for lounging. Guests may climb up and down the loft ladder at their own risk.

There is no TV, so it’s a great place to enjoy a little time unplugged.

Coffee and tea are provided. Please bring your favorite sweetener and creamer.

The Swedish-designed Separett composting toilet is easy to use and low maintenance, but it is not a regular flush toilet. Detailed instructions are posted next to it for your convenience.

Because the tiny house is surrounded by forest, you may occasionally see bugs inside. The space is fully screened in, but it’s impossible to keep it 100% bug-free without using harsh sprays.

Water is connected through standard garden spigot so not potable. Filtered water is provided for drinking.
