Staff is really nice and helpful but the breakfast…the breakfast is the best out there. Try everything they offer. Lastly, do yourself a favor in Monopoli, just be. Stay 2 nights. The first day check out all the sights and the second, just chill. You’ll be a new person. "

"We stayed at a lot of nice hotels on our travels through Italy and Malta, but Borgo was a real stand out. The surroundings and facility is next level. It is a real experience from arrival and all the way through your stay. Everyone went above and beyond. I regret not pre-booking spa time, as it was booked up when we arrived. I really liked the interaction with a personal concierge over Whatsapp. I was able to ask questions and she helped with some local advice for travels to Lecce and booked us an amazing restaurant in Fassano. This property is a gem in Puglia. "

"Well located place, with stove, utensils, fridge and outdoor table and chairs in big garden. Bottle of wine and snacks available for guests. Bath/shower is very small with water getting everywhere and nothing to dry it with. The place could benefit from more light and working lamps (two were out and a third needs a longer chord), squeaky bed and loud fridge (bed next to fridge). There is no wifi and cell reception is spotty at best. "
