Sophia, the local host, was wonderful – she gave us a warm welcome when we arrived in the dark on a very rainy evening and quickly responded to our requests for more firewood for the wood stove. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals - we loved the eggs and bananas that she generously provided for us as part of our welcome! Also, Home2Book was a pleasure to work with and responded immediately to any questions we had. I would book with them again in the future! Thank you! As the house is located in the cloud forest at the edge of the National park it is often cloudy and cold this time of year. I think it would be a good idea to warm the house before people arrive It is a lovely house for people who want to experience solitude and remoteness – in spite of the coldness of the house, we enjoyed our experience. ##### Karen ### 10/10 Excellent #### Jens Dec 6, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication Ein abgelegenes, sehr einsames Ferienhaus in den Bergen auf 900 m Höhe, eingerichtet im konservativen Landhausstil. Ideal für Wanderer, die diese Ruhe genießen können und auf Restaurants, Bars und Supermarkt in der Nähe verzichten wollen. Den Kaminofen im Haus konnten wir gut gebrauchen, sonst wäre es uns zu kalt gewesen. Die Küchenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, sogar Holzkohle und Anzünder waren für den Gartengrill vorhanden.
