"This is a lovely little villa in a quiet plaza with very nice gardens, next to the restaurant Los Conteros. Its within easy walking distance of Villaricous and the market square. It has a well equipped kitchen and when we stayed it was also well stocked with herbs and spices bought from the local market. "A typical Spanish property, furnished in vintage Spanish style. The property had everything we needed, the terraces back and front are charming. We put the barbecue to good use. The host was very friendly and helpful, always responding quickly. The house is very well presented, very clean throughout. We are going to book for next year. "It's a great house, we stayed here for more than two months and we felt so at home. When we arrived, there was new air conditioning installed in every room the day before, so the house is suitable for over winter stays, it has everything for that. Overall, we lived it."

"Richard's house was absolutely wonderful. The pictures can not really capture how great it is.The location is so peaceful and private and surrounded by so much beautiful nature. We only saw 1 other person on the beach during the whole week. We loved the traditional design of the house and all of the character that it has. It is really a special place and we would love to come back some day. Aside from that Richard was a wonderful host and the house was very clean. Thank you!!"

"Beautiful location with sea views and access to the beach. Very comfortable house , well equiped kitchen and a variety of outside seatimg , with BBQ. Probably due to the time of year ( mid Jan - mid Feb), wonderfully peaceful and quiet. We appreciated the outside space which has been nicely planted to provide a green garden area to relax in."

"The apartments are located in more of a residential area and are remote from the town of Aguilas itself. There is a regular shuttle service. The complex looks well maintained, it has a nice big pool area but here and there has broken tiles and looks a bit shabby. The apartment was basic but very comfortable and suited our requirements. It had the basic kitchen bits and pieces. Seemed good value for money."

"The staff in every area are wonderful. It's a very Spanish environment which we loved. Spanish couples,families and groups of all ages and types. Food was of fantastic quality and value - and fresh different options every day. The pool is actually like two large pools, one deep , so great for swimming. Both pools kept clean and no inflatables or ball games except organised water polo. Lots of sunbeds Right on the sea. Negatives? The parasols need replacing, and the rooms are large but very basic furnishings. However spotless and bathrooms refurbished. Aircon centrally controlled and we like much cooler. But this is a Spanish hotel and like Spanish taxis, warm for us. The beach looks great but sand coarse and gritty. It shelves immediately. So overall fantastic value and thankfully very Spanish. If you want English experience wrong resort for you. "
