Agrigento is not a nice town. It’s run down with almost nothing to do, apart from visiting the temples. Accommodations are sparse and are not of good quality, especially compared with other parts of Sicily.

It was a longish walk uphill from the Hotel Colleverde Park to the town of Agrigento, and the map wasn't well enough marked to direct us properly.
