"OK, this hotel was built in the 40s and renovated in 2010\. It is cute and modern. The dining room was not open as it was a national holiday, still they should provide services regardless. There is no parking! The free parking is on the street. The advertised hot tub was broken. They need to provide a way to make tea and coffee in the room as the breakfast time is 8-9:30\. The tub is not in the bathroom and showering is awkward as no shower, you have a hand held shower in the tub and no curtain to...

"The property was a beautiful country home a near wonderful hiking trails and a short drive from either Valencia or Alicante. Our hosts (Macu and Jose Luis) were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They provided maps and points of interest in the area and, although we would often return late in the evening, there was always someone awake to greet us upon our arrival. "Should have opened at 4pm. 30 degs out in the sun waiting until 4.30pm to check-in. Manage apologised but it was not a good start. Room had no bed lamps, toilet paper, TV or chair. Very basic. "

"We had a fantastic stay! The location is absolutely perfect — ideal for a chill weekend getaway. The house is super cute, full of charm and character, and the pool was simply amazing. What really stood out to us was the wonderful staff — so kind, warm, and truly person-oriented. They made us feel very welcome. We strongly recommend this place and would love to return!"

"Pros: La cercanía del anfitrión, siempre pendiente de todo, nos recomendó donde comer/cenar y nos dejó la nevera prácticamente llena que no nos hizo falta absolutamente nada. Las habitaciones son súper amplias, con ventilador, todo está muy limpio y la verdad es que repetiremos seguro cuando regresemos por la zona. Cons: No tengo nada que comentar, todo fue perfecto!"

Located on edge of a small quiet town.Entertainment provided from the nearby football pitch with both young and older players. Beautiful uncrowded sandy beeches nearby. "Loved the property. The website does definitely state its rural, so it warns you, but it does also mention that its just 2 buses from Alicante airport, and fails to mention the one hour and 10 minute walk from castalla to the hotel. Totally worth it, beautiful hotel to set up a retreat for yourself for a couple days, but people might struggle in the heat woth the walk if planning on taking buses"
