The hotel is well placed for visiting Itmad ud Daula, an often overlooked treasure of Agras Mughal culture . Rooftop restaurant is really great. My wife and I stayed here because it is pretty close to the train station. The rooms are ok. The view of the Taj was very good, though dirty windows on outside hurts the view. I think the price is a little high for Agra compared to the quality of the hotel. The bedding did not feel washed and effected my sleep. Honestly the best part of the hotel is the rooftop restaurant, but you can go to that restaurant without staying there. The check in process took quite a while. The room itself was nice enough and clean enough, but a bit noisy. The rooftop restaurant had better than expected food, and our waiter was excellent, but it was not our scene. Super club like, noisy music and got really crowded. Overall I'd say the hotel had a weird feel to it, kind of like a flipped house does.
