On arrival, we were welcomed by the lovely host family to a very peaceful setting. The cottage patio looks onto beautiful gardens with mature trees. Das Frühstück ist gut. Man erreicht den Addo Park in ca. 15min mit dem Auto. Nita & Mike waren sehr liebevolle Hosts. Das Frühstück wurde nach unseren Wünschen von Nita zubereitet und war wirklich sehr lecker. Guter Ausgangspunkt für den Addo. Wir machten auch einen kleine Spaziergang über die Zitrusfarm. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist top. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es kann optional ein Abendessen für 200 Zar unter freiem Himmel gebucht werden (im Adrenalin Addo). Our stay at Happy Lands B&B was a welcome sanctuary on our route. Mike and Nita were wonderful hosts, and went out of their way to make this our best stay of our 3 week trip. Both of my kids said they would like to return here when they get a chance to return to the country. This was our family's first experience at a true B&B, and we hope future experiences will be as good as this. The rooms were very clean/comfortable and included the little things (such as a fridge, coffee and purified water) that make a stay just a little less stressful. The breakfast was excellent including fresh fruits from the farm and made to order eggs. The marmalade was so good, that my daughter made it her mission to make it all the way back home with a jar riding in her backpack. Herzlichkeit Empfang eher nüchtern durch das Personal, die Gastfamilie haben wir in drei Tagen nicht einmal gesehen. Im Vergleich zu unseren vorherigen Aufenthalten in Südafrika sehr ernüchternd. Cottage war schön eingerichtet und sauber. Küchenzeile war sehr spartanisch. Regenwasser aus den Leitungen richt sehr unangenehm vor allem beim Duschen. Die zwei schönen Hunde haben leider bei jedem Geräusch gebellt vor allem in der Nacht. Frühstück war gut. Leider haben wir uns trotz der guten Bewertungen nicht wie im Paradies gefühlt.
