Perfect for a short break in the midst of the welsh countryside
Very clean, comfortable and well equipped , suited our needs perfectly. Lots of footpaths close by so ideal for walkers. We loved being away from it all yet it was only only a 15 minute drive to shops.

    Lovely stay
A lovely cottage which is nice and quiet with beautiful surroundings and nicely decorated with everything you need. A short drive takes you to shops and places to eat which is handy And bike park wales and black mountain are just 30 minutes away . Will be using again for sure.

We loved this property’s very peaceful rural location whilst still being only a 10 minute drive from Abergavenny. It was reasonably spacious and well equipped in terms of appliances and furniture. However there was a barren feel to the outside space with the cladding and paintwork showing clear signs of needing remedial attention. A few planters as shown in your picture might have helped. Similarly there was a complete lack of any kind of homely ambiance inside. Some pictures and a hanging mirror would have made things feel a little less utilitarian. Also somewhat disappointed not to find anything in terms of fresh produce, eg small bottle of milk, as a welcome to the property. This is the first time we’ve ever encountered such an approach.

    5/5 Excellent

    Lovely peaceful stay
We loved this beautifully clean and decorated property where we stayed for 3 nights for a long weekend break for a family wedding. We were also delighted to find that there is a freezer and excellent wifi, as these were not mentioned in the property details. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.
