"No parking only down road a bit far if you can’t walk far or disabled
also stairs very steep
and too many lorries turning up at 5am for deliveries and people screaming and shouting late at night from 2 public houses down the road and to top it all from 7am Monday and Tuesday morning young school children waiting for restaurant Haystack to open for school club the hotel itself is excellent condition very high specification finish very clean condition no hot water till 8am"
"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "
"This hotel is ok but pretty basic overall. Although clean, the room felt very tired. Staff aren’t really on hand late at night or in the morning. It was good value. "

"Based on the fact that this is a budget hotel, the staff are amazing - endlessly helpful and patient with guests. We arrived when all the systems had gone down and the poor reception lady was being pulled in every which way - but she was still so polite, smiling and helpful. "
"I had a fantastic time staying here for my wedding weekend! The staff were absolutely fabulous, and the room was spotless. The beds were so comfy, I honestly didn’t want to leave! Can’t wait to book and stay again soon!"
"We had a great one night stay whilst we were visiting Cardiff for a concert.
Room was lovely and included a fridge.
Staff on reception were helpful & friendly.
Breakfast was good and again the staff were friendly and efficient.
Would recommend this hotel. "
"Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and gorgeous restaurant overlooking the vineyard. Our room had a balcony overlooking the rolling hills which was very relaxing. Very comfy beds with lovely bedding. I wish we were staying longer. "
