The host was great - friendly, helpful and gave us some really good recommendations for places to eat and things to do and see. "After spending 15 nights in various hotels on a multi- country tour, we needed to find two nights’ accommodations before joining a second tour. The two nights we needed happened to be on a weekend. I could not find accommodations in hotels recommended by our tour company. I searched Hotels.com and found Aparthotel Gaja in Bled, Slovenia. I booked two nights quickly, so as not to be stranded without a place to stay. We spent two nights in a specious apartment, within walking distance from the Bled city center. Actually, next door to the hotel where we had spent two nights for a similar price. The apartment was modern with USB and USBC plugs on the wall, with a fully-equipped kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. Great breakfasts were delivered in to the room each morning and there was free parking, with very helpful guidance, especially in a city where you cannot do your laundry without paying for parking. Finally, Katrina is a gem who seemed to be ever present to answer every question."
