"I booked this stay last minute and immediately tried to cancel it but Bergen Guesthouse does not accept cancellations. The property is close to the city center, inexpensive and newly - in progress - renovated. However, the walls are paper thin, the rooms lack comfort (our window didn’t close properly, only a ceiling light, no bedside lights, the power outlets didn’t work properly, no TV, no mirror). One full bath and one out of order bathroom to share between 4 rooms on the level we stayed....

After many attempts a distant poorly English speaking person answered and eventually answered. When we got in, the apartment was barely cleaned. A lot of dust and hair. "The place is new inside. Has a new bathroom and kitchen. A sofa bed and the bed are on the smallish side but comfortable. The living space consists of a single room with a bedroom surrounded by glass. It is cozy and practical. It is at the center of everything and we never needed public transport inside the city. Will definitively stay here again and recommend it."
