« My husband and I had a weekend planned out for our anniversary. We went to Mt. Rainer and Whitepass Ski resort and this was the perfect location. The coffee shop and brewery were in walking distance. The place is clean and cozy! »

« The carriage house apartment on 2nd floor was an ideal place for the two of us. Immaculate, beautifully renovated, on gorgeous grounds and so peaceful in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Small toaster/airfry oven, hot plate and microwave were all we needed. We used the propane bbq on the deck one night, great amenities here. Heated bathroom floor was an unexpected luxury! Stairs were not a problem for us, but may have been for a handicapped or elderly person. We hope to return someday soon. »

« The hotel itself is quite old and charming in its own way. However, this is really not a hotel more of a old bed and breakfast converted into a Hotel. The floors are old and creaking and the walls are thin. So any activity outside your room is very audible and can be disturbing. The room itslef despite recent renovations still feels quite dated and more like a bedroom in a house not a hotel room. Think small and utilitarian not lavish and roomy. No common things like a TV, alarm clock, etc....

« This house is wild! It looks like it was the most decadent place people could even imagine in the 50's. When you're there you can totally imagine ladies in sleek evening gowns and fancy hairdos sipping martinis while men in loosened ties play snooker. The floor the ceiling windows in the living room and upstairs master are STUNNING. The architecture is textbook perfect for the era. There's even an old indoor elevator!
