Went with my family including a 9y old during May long weekend. Stayed there for 3 nights and we had a great, memorable vacation at Sea Edge. The property is old but has everything that one could ask for- Ocean view, where you can walk to the sea - feels like private beach, Patio sitout, kitchenette, bon fire place and woods provided as complimentary, children friendly, volleyball net and much more to have a nice relaxed vacation with your family. It's a hidden gem that don't burn a hole in your pocket and still gives you a fulfilling experience. You could walk down to Parksville community park and come back to your room without worrying about Parking etc.
The staff (Mark and Chris) were both extremely friendly and do everything to make you feel comfortable. We strongly recommend this place for anyone looking to spend a quality Vacation on the beach side.
Improvement areas (can get a 5 star if these are addressed):
1. Bed mattresses could be bit firmer as springs seem to be a bit wornout and needs replacement. 2. Sometimes noise from upper suite can be disturbing if you have a noisy guest above you.
