The home was had plenty of room for all of us to spread out and get time to ourselves when needed and space to gather together to hang out and eat. "I totally enjoyed my winter getaway. Loved seeing the sunrise come into the bedroom. The location was great, within close proximity to everything I needed. I loved the snow and found a great trail for snowshoe hiking up off Gunflint Trail. The cottage was perfect. Loved the gas stove heaters. The bed was comfortable and the bath towels were very soft. "The beds and pillows were amazing. Really clean, kitchen well stocked. We only made coffee but there is plenty of everything you would need to make anything. There are several great restaurants that are within walking distance. Quiet neighborhood. Stayed for the weekend to attend a sewing workshop at Treadle Yard Goods. The VRBO list a hot tub but there wasn’t one and the info we received at check in from VRBO didn’t have the WIFi info. We emailed the host and she was great! Fast response!...

"My husband and I along with our 2 young adult daughters spent Memorial Day weekend at the Polished Pebble Cottage. As other reviews have mentioned, the photos are true to the physical attributes of the rental. All of the bedrooms are on the second level. There was a very, very sufficient number of towels provided in each of the bedrooms for individuals to use. "I was here 5 weeks while my husband had major surgery. If you’re wondering if it’s too far- it’s not. If you’re wondering if it’s too small- it’s not. Ignore the couple of bad reviews or comments. Some people just suck. My favorite rental I’ve ever stayed at. A little piece of Heaven after the stress of the hospital. Bill and bette were great and make sure to meet neighbor Sue, next door. I’ve made friends your life. Do yourself a favor and book."

"Communication was excellent with owner. The pool was alot of fun. The house was very clean. 2 fridges were awesome. Lots of bathrooms! The reason i did not give it a 5 is the living room sits 6 with very uncomfortable furniture and the dining room sits 6 with higher chairs, not good for kids and many of the beds were very warped and old. The weekend we were there it snowed and snowed. Lovely but no one came to shovel us out so bring your own shovels (and chairs)"
