"We made a trip North from Pa for a much needed weekend away. This was our third trip to the NOTL area. This property was so easily centric to everything we wanted to do. We walked everywhere downtown and to the grand Lake O! short drive to wineries, a golf outlet etc. The house was comfortable, charming and everything we needed for a weekend away from it all! We’ll definately be back!!"

"My husband and I wanted a little spot to rest while visiting all of the beautiful places around the area. This little place was the perfect size for our needs. It was pretty cold, so we weren't able to enjoy the lovely firepit or the grill outside, but we enjoyed the cozy indoor fireplace and sitting in front of it in the evenings while we unwound from a day of adventure. Would highly recommend this place!"

"My husband and I totally enjoyed our stay at the cottage....We could walk to just about everything....lunch, dinner....and only a short 30 minute ride to Niagara Falls! We loved this cute little town. Very qauint and quiet! Would definetly recommmend this place to anyone who wants to see Niagara Falls, but wants some peaceful quiet time!"

"Had an amazing three days staying in Niagra on the Lake. Pauline is an amazing hostess and gardner! The grounds were amazing and beautiful. The cottage had everything we needed and was only a few blocks from the heart of downtown, the lake and fort. We are already talking of returning here for a quick getaway to tour some wineries!"

"The Carriage House was a dream come true. Beautifully appointed, extremely clean, well stocked with everything we needed and perfectly located for day trips around Ontario and into NY. The outside property is beautifully landscaped as well. Our hosts were awesome and provided recommendations for everything from places to eat to pet sitting services. A definite WIN!"

"This property was beautiful and very clean. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on. The only issues we ran into was that we had no hot water for the first night. Fortunately, the property owner was quick to respond and have someone come out and correct the issue, first thing in morning. Overall, it was a pretty great place and I would definitely go back."

"A perfect little vacation rental beside Lake Erie and the Grand River. The cottage was comfortable had everything we needed, and Rui was super quick to respond to any questions we had. We noticed that a few reviews mentioned the WiFi, but we had no problems at all; the WiFi was fast and reliable! We’d definitely return to this lovely place!"

"This is the cutest wee animal sanctuary. Place was clean and comfortable. Communication with owner was immediate and excellent. It is a bit rustic, but for me, i was very happy. "My fiance and I stayed at Rui's place for the weekend looking for a quiet getaway from the city. This location had everything we were looking for! Beautiful spot on the water. Make sure to take a walk down the pier to the lighthouse. Rui was a great host, 100% satisfaction."

"The location was good. Walking distance to the arcade, food trucks, convenience store, tennis courts, water park etc.. Beaches were nearby, and clean. However, the cottage was quite dirty. Past guests left food in the oven, chips in between bowls inside the cupboard, floors were sticky, tub drain had hair and slime, small pet hairs were on the mattresses and sofa, BBQ was dirty. "The area around the hotel is a bit of an eyesore, and there was a slight lingering smell in the hallways, though the room was fine. Huge, clean and modern rooms, very nice. Definitely deserves its high rating overall, would return (though I'd like for them to identify what the smell in the hallways was and deal with it)."
