"My husband and I wanted a little spot to rest while visiting all of the beautiful places around the area. This little place was the perfect size for our needs. It was pretty cold, so we weren't able to enjoy the lovely firepit or the grill outside, but we enjoyed the cozy indoor fireplace and sitting in front of it in the evenings while we unwound from a day of adventure. Would highly recommend this place!"

"We had a wonderful stay in this charming little cottage for our Eclipse Trip (April 8, 2024) The cottage is cozy with an updated bathroom. We appreciated having Netflix and everything to make coffee and tea. The location is perfect. Close to the lakefront, the Niagara River Trail, and to Queen Street with restaurants, shops, etc."

"Our dog joined us on our little get-away. Pauline was a great hostess, greeting us upon our arrival and giving Lucy treats, each time she saw her. And, she was anxious to walk Lucy for us when we were out antiquing, shopping or eating. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable. Just the right size for the two of us. "We made a trip North from Pa for a much needed weekend away. This was our third trip to the NOTL area. This property was so easily centric to everything we wanted to do. We walked everywhere downtown and to the grand Lake O! short drive to wineries, a golf outlet etc. The house was comfortable, charming and everything we needed for a weekend away from it all! "The Carriage House was a dream come true. Beautifully appointed, extremely clean, well stocked with everything we needed and perfectly located for day trips around Ontario and into NY. The outside property is beautifully landscaped as well. Our hosts were awesome and provided recommendations for everything from places to eat to pet sitting services. A definite WIN!"

"This property was beautiful and very clean. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on. The only issues we ran into was that we had no hot water for the first night. Fortunately, the property owner was quick to respond and have someone come out and correct the issue, first thing in morning. Overall, it was a pretty great place and I would definitely go back."

"This is the cutest wee animal sanctuary. Place was clean and comfortable. Communication with owner was immediate and excellent. It is a bit rustic, but for me, i was very happy. "Overall a nice place. A little perturbed by all the pest prevention devices throughout the home (didn’t see any mice though so that’s a good thing). Some long white dog hair found throughout as well which was off putting. Despite this the view was nice and the space was great."
