Cons- some overlooked areas in cleaning- smears of something on walls and picture frames, a dirty cooking pot, etc. The main problem was the shower. While it looked very nice, it was poorly designed. "We booked a deluxe lake view room. The view was amazing but the room was so small that it didn’t have 2 night stands. It was like a $50 a night Econolodge off a highway. There is no air conditioning and it was very warm. We tried to open the windows but bugs immediately flew in. Breakfast was good and the pool and spa area are top notch. Overall it was overpriced and definitely not 4 stars. "

"I loved my time at Hotel Oberland!! The views are everything. I made a decision to stay in Triesenberg, rather than Vaduz or another town in the valley, primarily to save money. But it was so worthwhile for the views and the quiet away from the busier areas. Thankfully the buses to Vaduz and elsewhere are timely and convenient. (Just be aware it’s an uphill walk from the bus stop, which can be challenging with luggage.) The self check-in system worked well. But it was a very pleasant highlight to have staff cooking during the breakfast service. They were so welcoming, and the food was great, just what I needed for all the hiking I did throughout Liechtenstein."
