Cathedral Gate Hotel
3.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, 523 reviews

No lifts, steep and narrow stairs, creaky floorboards, car parks a good 10 minute walk…. but, and critically, unbelievably well located for town and cathedral and very friendly and helpful staff. The continental breakfast options were fine and adequate. Place was clean and tidy, bed comfortable. So do not expect 5 star...
