"My husband & I stayed in the Annapolis Suite at Gingerbread House in Wolfville, NS for our anniversary. It is a lovely suite, 10 minute walk to amenities in town. We enjoyed having the hot tub in the room but the chlorine smell is strong. You do get use to it once you’re in the room for a bit. The bed was very comfortable but pillows a bit thin. The shower was great, strong water pressure. The fireplace was a nice touch, we were grateful for it at first because the heat pump wasn’t set properly. My husband had to figure out the settings, but once he did the room heated up nicely. I enjoyed the warm apple cider on arrival, nice touch! Overall we enjoyed our stay, breakfast would’ve been nice to have as the cost was a bit high for just the room!"

"Staff are very nice. Pool was large and lovely to swim in and sauna was great. Downside: Noise in halls is unfortunate- sounds like a herd of elephants at times. "

"For an older property it has been very well maintained. Bed, linens, towels,internet, bathroom, amenities all top quality. Being an older property the room with a king bed was fairly tight. Bathroom rather tiny also. The smaller room size characteristic of older motels/hotels I have found is now becoming vogue again in new properties. Sign of the times, less room equals more rooms. Unfortunately not of the owners making I along with the owners had a bad night's rest. The adjacent room had an awful unruly guest."
