"Our stay at the Elmhurst Inn was wonderful. The innkeeper made us feel welcome and answered any questions we had. Location was great - easy walk into the center of Bar Harbor and short drive to Acadia National Park. Front porch was a great place to enjoy the weather and meet the other guests. Breakfast was wonderful - every day we had a choice of either a sweet or savory option. Our room (Cadillac) was spacious and clean. Our only wish would have been if the shower was a little bit bigger...

"The property is rustic but nice. There is a bathroom with shower on 1st and 2nd floor but the water pressure in the house does not sustain use of both at the same time. The main kitchen refrigerator was not working during our stay. There are minifridges on the 2nd and 3rd floor but it would have been nice to have working main floor fridge."

"Normally my wife and I are not big bed and breakfast people. However, Harbour Cottage had some of the best reviews in the Acadia National Park area. We gave it a try and we are so glad we did.
