"Excellent property and staff could not be more delightful, friendly or helpful. Nothing is too much bother. Owner on site every day and mixes with guests and is always willing to improve your stay. The only minor issue is noise from surrounding cafes and bars which I found disturbing on a few nights, otherwise I doubt you could get a better place to enjoy Malta. Many suggestions of things to do and see, places to go were offered, including ferry and bus times, and my days were filled. ...

"Very charming 21 room boutique hotel in an historical building. The location just inside the City Gate was easy walking distance to all the sites. The room and amenities were up to date, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Special mention to Maria who not only called a taxi but walked us and our luggage in the rain to the meeting spot outside the pedestrian area. If you want a personalized, small hotel experience in the old part of the city, I highly recommend Domus Zamittello. "

"Beautifully maintained old palazzo in a good location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Valletta is quite small and thus incredibly walkable. Nothing is more than a few minutes away. Would stay again. If accessibility is a concern, the Layla penthouse may not be the best choice as there are a few stairs particularly between the two terraces and down to the bathroom (which does not have a door so that may not suit everyone). It does face the street where there are bars/restaurants that stay open...
