"Wonderful restful lodge across from Motueka River with mountains beyond. Chere Harris is a great host. She fed us great breakfasts and also made a salad and purchased mussels so that we could cook the rest. Couldn't recommend more highly!"

"Ratanui Lodge was awesome, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing lots of information on hikes in the area! Location was fabulous and directly across from the beach."

"Stayed 3 nights at Annick House. Felt like our house from the start. Just safe, comfortable and convenient. Great hosts with history to Nelson. Fabulous fresh breakfast.Nick helped us tour, walking routes and taxis. Had great beer at his pub! Little Thai takeaway near his house had fresh dinners at reasonable price. Had our first NZ pie at downtown bakery.. too good. Nelson will be hard to beat."
