"What a lovely experience we had at The Pear Tree at Purton. The welcome was personable and I can imagine how it would get even better the more you stay. To remember what we were doing and ask how we enjoyed it was exceptional and added to the overall experience. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and relaxed with no rushing you out. We spoke to other guests who ate dinner and were advised this was also perfectly cooked. We saw The waiting staff really working hard to ensure a good experience....

"Really friendly and welcoming host with tea and freshly baked cake. Room was spotless and breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and we also had freshly baked muffins. You won't go wrong by staying here!"

"Hotel staff great. Hotel room great. Breakfast however was buffet style i didnt complain but should have. 0830 ish went to breakfast. Bacon cooked crispy but luke warm sat on the side.sausages cold beans cold eggs greasy fried and cold mushrooms cold. Hash brown cold fresh toms grilled but cold. £12.50 if i was in a mellow mood should of asked for money back. "

"Stayed for a midweek break of 3 nights. Room was very nice and we like the fact we had our own front door onto the beer garden like a motel room. We ate in the restaurant each of the nights we were there. The staff were very accommodating to me in my choice of food as I have a very small appetite they agreed that I could have a lunch time meal as a dinner as they were smaller. "Lovely stay hotel but felt sorry for staff as hotel had gone into administration and staff were nt being paid so felt bad staying there when staff not being paid and hotel was closing at lunch time so not sure how fair it is to sell hotel rooms when staff not being paid."
