The Hearthstone is in a great ski-in, ski-out location, and very central to the village. We stayed in a village side kitchenette room (#404) which had a king size bed and a pull-out sofa. We also had a view of the main ski mountains when sitting on our bed. We found the king bed to be very comfortable! There were plenty of pillows to choose from, and there was a mix of both firm and soft pillows. Room was spacious, and you could easy fit 2 people in the bathroom at one time if needed to get ready. Due to the current COVID situation there was no room service, and you needed to empty your own garbage bins if they got full. If you needed anything in the room like coffee, towels etc, you just filled out a form and dropped it at the front desk (or you could fill out the form on a phone app) & anything you needed was dropped off to the door of the room during the day. The kitchenette was well stocked..there were plenty of dishes, cups, utensils, cookware etc. It was nice to have a dishwasher, stovetop and a decent sized fridge in the kitchenette room, although that left not much room to put your own food in the kitchen. (We always find there is a trade-off somewhere in hotel rooms no matter where you stay). The hot tub in the hotel was open - each room could book it for a 10 minute session. We experienced friendly staff whilst we were there.
