"One night stop over. Stayed here before, had such a lovely time it was well worth a repeat visit. Service was excellent and with a smile. Dinner was lovely, beautifully cooked and presented, breakfast was perfect too. Our room/suite offered great value and comfort, you’ll not be disappointed if you stay and dine in. "

"Lovely hotel, great staff. Comfortable bed. Dinner is just one fixed menu bookable in advance which was of very good quality if you happen to like what it is on the day. If you visit, its best to research the history of the area as we did not and missed some nice potential visits"

"We stayed in two rooms as the first one was at the end of the corridor and you got disturbed by people using the stairs which were right on the other side of the wall. It was obvious the rooms were in older buildings which meant you could hear the other guests in corridor. There was no kettle or tea/coffee things in the room something I would expect 4 star accomodation to have. Reception did lend us a kettle once we mentioned this. The restaurant serves excellent food at a 4 star accomodation...

"The hotel runs the extremely loud party just under our room till 2 am. It was impossible to sleep. There was no receptionist at night, and nobody answered provided emergency phone. No apology or compensation from the administration "

"The bedrooms were small with depressing decor and a leaky shower. The hotel is in the middle of renovations but it didnt mention list on the description. It was expensive for the standard of hotel. I wouldn’t recommend "

"The bar and restaurant were closed on a Saturday which I found odd. Also, the breakfast was mediocre at best"
