“Misleading Name”
I guess I was naive enough that hotel with word "Executive" in its name should have matching service. Hotel has very old, slow and loud elevator. The carpet in the room had questionable condition so I would not recommend walking barefoot on it.
“Comfortable boutique hotel with friendly staff”
While our room was a bit small, overall we were satisfied with this hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional and the location and parking were pretty convenient for a downtown hotel. The Seattle's Best Coffee Shop off the lobby was a very nice surprise.
“Comfortable and convenient”
Although the bathroom was a little small, everthing else was good. Movies were not available, but luckily found a PBS program that was great. Seattles Best Coffee shop on ground level - that was helpful!
“Excellent for the Price”
Great Location. No thrills hotel. Nothing special in terms of room. Great price.
“self”
It was nice, just the high cost of parking.
“The heart of downtown Seattle”
Close to all the cool stuff in Seattle. Rooms are small but very nice.
“our hotel for Thanksgiving”
hotel location is in the central of Seattle downtown. it's good for you when you don't have a car, and to see Seattle Downtown.
“Staying Seattle on a budget ... OK experience”
Lots of positives for this property, but a few watchouts. Bed and Shower were fine (and most important to us!); room was sufficiently quiet, and dark in the morning. Location is right downtown, convenient, just a couple (hilly) blocks from transit. Check-in was handled well. On the downside, 3 things to watch for. Temperature was an issue: our room was VERY warm (tolerable with the window open all night in November), while others in our party experienced very chilly rooms. The hotel is nicely rehabbed, but it's still an older place with small rooms. Finally, at check-out we were informed (for the first time) of a "new amusement tax" (or some kind of fee) of $2/night; we objected, and the clerk declared we were "checking out with balance due". There was no charge placed on our card, but we'd suggest others should be on the lookout for this, especially since it was not disclosed until checkout. All in all, not a bad experience in a major-city downtown property ... we'd be ok going there again.
“denverite”
The only thing that was difficult was the noise....not because of loud neighbors but thin walls. Location great....we didn't drive once in the two days we were there...walked to everything.
“Good value. Stanley is a great asset.”
Good value hotel with easy walking access to Pike Street Market and all of the downtown area. Close to Metro. Rooms are not huge but adequate. Staff was very helpful and well informed.
