"We returned here for the 2nd time and had a really good time. Homely good food, cooked fresh every day. The rooms are not huge but are comfortable and clean, with the tea and coffee supplies restocked daily. We will be returning next year if not sooner. Thanks Lyness Guest House"

"This is a very traditonal hotel in the best sense of that word. The rooms are spacious and we had one with a great view towards Robin Hoods Bay. We had dinner and breakfast and both were very good."

"The hotel is placed in an ideal location to be able to access the attractions easily. It is a lovely looking place to stay, being well decorated and clean looking. Our room was great, very clean and serviced daily. We would definitely recommend a stay here and will be looking to return again when we are able (with a baby on the way we're not sure when!).
